PBK established the council in 2018. Its founding participants included school district police chiefs, school resource officers, safety directors, law enforcement agencies, and first responders.
More than 130 participants contributed to the recommendations published in Together for Tomorrow.
The recommendations address facilities, law enforcement, and administration. Districts can use them to assess their campuses and develop local plans.
